BANQUET SPEAKER

Immediately following the Banquet, we will be honored with a special presentation by Doctor Ron Loge, nationally recognized authority on the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Dr. Loge will present his exciting program, LEWIS AND CLARK - EXPLORERS AND PHYSICIANS, concerning the medical side of preparing for the expedition, health problems encountered by participants, and actual treatment based on best medical advice and equipment available in the early 1800’s.

Dr. John Xanthopoulos and the Equine Studies Students will explain the curriculum and intent of UMW’s exciting new Equestrian Programs coordinated with La Cense Montana.

 
LA CENSE MONTANA LLC: Demonstrations and presentations by trainers and students in La Cerise’s international horse training programs,and the advantages of using these natural horsemanship methods for those interested in becoming expert horse trainers with young unbroken horses.
Class members and their charges learn the special bond necessary between horse and rider to develop a lasting and meaningful relationship.
La Cerise is a working ranch, specializing in Quarter horses, natural horsemanship training, and Angus cattle.
