Photo Contest Categories:
Category One: wildlife, horses, pets, etc.
Category Two: scenery, rainbows, mountains, etc.
Category: Three: people or things
Category Four: work projects
Photos Contest Rules & Regulations:
Photos to be taken and submitted by Backcountry Horsemen only
Amateur photographers only
5" x 7" - no larger than 18" x 24"
Photos can be any format, however must be dry mounted or framed.
Name, Address, Phone number, must be attached to back of photo in small
envelope
Remember-no visible autographs on front of photo, mat, or frame
Contestants may enter two photos in each category
Mailed in entries must be mailed to:

Judging will take place at the Lewis and Clark room @ the University of Montana
Vickie Satterlee, Mark Sant, and
myself will be
at the designated motel (Guest
House Inn) on Friday
Evening, March 19th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to register
photos on entry forms for the Photo Contest. Small envelopes with card inserts will be
available at the registration desk for photo contestants to place their
address and e-mail address.
All photos must be registered with Larry Jordan, Contest and Exhibit Coordinator
@ Lewis & Clark Room for judging by 8:00 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2004
We
would like to have as many photos registered at the Motel as possible.
This will save time
on Saturday morning, March 20th, since we would like to have all the photos
up for display by 9:00 a.m. for photo judge and also for voting on
the people's choice award.
The Saturday morning
schedule will be a very busy one.
If Photo Contestants have an e-mail Address,
please send it to ljordan@bmt.net.
This will give us a reference for any e-mail address on an entry form that
may seem illegible to us. This will also enable us to e-mail contest winner
results to all contestants.
All non winners names will be placed in a
drawing. Five names will be drawn and each will receive a prize.
I would appreciate all first, second, and third
place winners in all Categories, along with the Judges Choice and Grand
Prize winners e-mailing their winning photos to me in JPEG. I will
then organize and prepare them for Dan to place on the Back Country Horsemen
Web Page.
Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the banquet by the Judge.
Awards will be given for first, second, & third place in each category
Grand Prize: (Peoples Choice) Combined Categories $ 50.00
