The 2008 Back Country Horsemen of Montana convention will be held at the Holiday Inn, 400 10th Ave So, Great Falls, Mt. A block of rooms have been set aside for this convention. You can book your rooms between Dec 1st and March 1st. To obtain the discount price of $84.00 plus tax, be sure to mention that they are for the BCH convention.

Registration fees are $70.00 per person until March 1st and they will be $80.00 thereafter. The registration fee includes the luncheon, banquet, breakfast buffet, beverages, snacks and entertainment during the convention. The guests’ prices for the luncheon, banquet and breakfast buffet are quoted on the registration form.

The photo contest will give prizes out to 1st and 2nd place pictures in each category. They should have been taken during the 2007 year and must have been taken by BCH members. Members are limited to 2 (two) entries in each category. The pictures must be 5x7 or 8X10, matted or dry-mounted. The categories are (1) Scenery, (2) Animals, (3) People and (4) BCH at Work.  Please include name and chapter on back of photos.

The raffle tickets were handed out in September to your Board members. We think we have some GREAT items to offer for this raffle. We have a Remington model 700 SPS, 270 rifle with scope, a Canon DC210 camcorder and a 37” Toshiba LCD TV.  If more tickets are needed, let us know and we will see that you get them.

The atrium in the Holiday Inn will be available for your club displays. Vendors will occupy the hallway and the Trigg Room.

Just a reminder that each club is to donate 1 (one) item or article for the state auction. It must be a $50.00 value. If more than one item is donated by a club, it will be auctioned off as one item. This will eliminate the length of the auction so that we can enjoy the evening festivities.

We are going to have a GREAT band that everyone will enjoy. It will be something you will always remember. So bring your dancing shoes and have FUN!!!!!

If you have any questions, you can check on line at the BCHM web site or contact our chapter.

            SEE YOU IN MARCH!!!!!!!
