PROJECT: Ed Quiqley Memorial Poker Ride & BBQ

June 7:  Ed Quigley Memorial Poker Ride & BBQ (Birch Creek, Herron Park)

·        Directions:  At intersection of Highway 2 and Meridian Road turn left (Albertson on left, Eisinger Motors on right) or south onto Meridian Road.  Go approximately 1 mile and take the right fork onto Foys Lake Road (as you turn right you will go over Ashley Creek and railroad tracks), continue on Foys Lake Road for 5 miles.  On your right, you will see a number of horse jumps, which will be the start of Herron Park, continue going south for .2 mile.  At this location you will see a number of stalls, water and tables on your right, pull through this gate.

·        Facilities:  Plenty of parking, toilet facilities, hitch racks, etc.

·        Description:  We will be riding on gentle terrain in the surrounding forestlands.  The loop that we will be taking is fairly scenic with moderate elevation changes.

·        Please Note:  The ride will be from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with the BBQ at 4:30 PM.  Sponsored by the Flathead Back Country Horseman.  Non-members and families welcome.  $10 per adult rider, $5 for non-riders, fee includes BBQ.  Prizes will be awarded to winning hand holders.  Send entry to BCH of the Flathead.  NO DOGS, please.
