PROJECT: Lion Creek Packing

May 17 (Saturday): Lion Creek Trail Head (Upper Swan Area)

·         Access: At junction of HWY #35 & #83 (which is apx. 2 mi. N of Bigfork) turn East onto HWY #83 (Little Brown Church on left, Exxon on right) continue for apx. 30 miles from junction.  At sign for Trail #25 turn left onto Lion Creek road, #5383.  Stay on main Lion Creek road for apx. 3 miles.  Lion Creek road ends at trailhead.

·         Facilities:  Parking at trailhead.

·        Description:  Pack in gravel on Lion Creek Trail #25 about ¼ of a mile from trailhead to creek ford. Good day project for green and experienced packhorses.  We could use people to hold horses, load gravel into pack bags and some to rake and spread the gravel.

·        Please note: With enough workers work will be completed on Saturday we can carpool for those who haven’t been there before.
