On Saturday, August 23, 3pm our club is having its annual Steak Ride at the Spanish Peaks Trailhead. We ride first with your choice of partner(s) and arrive back at the trailhead for your cooked steak starting at 3pm. If you choose to not ride, just come for the cooked steak and potatoes but with your potluck and have a get-together with friends. Your family and friends are welcome - the cost is $10 for your steak and potatoes that we supply, but please bring your potluck of a salad, dessert, or rolls. Be sure you bring your plate, utensils, chair and BYOB. Hopefully, there will be some pop and bottled water left from the Poker Ride or you might want to bring your own. Once again this year we have invited the Gallatin Saddle and Harness club to join us. Please try to RSVP Dan by August 7th so he can get a count for the steaks.
Dan Porter is chair and chef for this event and cooks a mighty healthy steak – it will fill your plate and I kid you not!
